was born 136 years ago near Millville, Indiana.

Official
Collection gets "Airborne"
We are pleased to introduce the second painting
of the First Flight Centennial® Watercolor
Collection by North Carolina artist Marsha
Mills. Working with five historians from four
different states, Marsha created a depiction of
the first flight that is not only artistically
impressive but historically accurate. "Airborne"
is part of a serial numbered, limited edition
of fine art Giclee prints and shows the
takeoff of the first flight by Orville Wright. |
|
The first piece in the series, "Wright
Monument" was a fixture on Capitol Hill
in the early 1990s. With the first two
paintings finished, Marsha is on target to
have all four paintings completed by early
fall 2003. The third painting will be entitled
"Coin Toss" and the fourth will be
the "Past, Present, Future". Only
1,000 pieces of each print in four different
sizes will be produced. All prints are signed
by the artist and registered. |
 |
| Buyers of the
collection will have first right of refusal to
the following series with the same sequence
numbers. Collect the set of four with matching
numbers for a wonderful and valuable Aviation
heirloom! To order, call 910/326-2600 or order
online. |
