SAFETY

Q. What safety considerations should I be aware of?
A. Common sense is probably the best thing to bring with you to the event. The greatest safety consideration at the site will be the weather. Outer Banks Decembers can be cold and blustery. Be sure to dress appropriately, as most aspects of the event will take place outdoors and you may be outdoors for an extended period of time. There are low-growing cacti on the park grounds. You will need to take care when walking across open fields. It is recommend that you stay on maintained paths and roadways.
